  • M. D. (Hom.) in Practice of Medicine - (3 seats)

Eligibility

Candidate seeking admission to M.D.(Homoeopathy)should possess the degree of

  • Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery or equivalent qualification in Homoeopathy included in the Second Schedule to the Act, after undergoing a course of study of not less than five years and six months duration including one year compulsory internship or
  • Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (Graded Degree) or equivalent qualification in Homoeopathy included in the Second Schedule to the Act, after undergoing a course of study of not less than two years duration.
  • The university or the authority appointed by Central government or State government shall select candidate on merit for P.G. Course. The preference shall be given to candidates who have worked in rural areas for two years in respect of one seat in each subject as per merit.

Following original documents required at the time of admission:

  • First to Final BHMS Marks cards.
  • Internship Completion Certificate from college previously studied/worked.
  • Internship Completion Certificate from University.
  • Degree Certificate.
  • Registration Certificate from Board/Council.
  • Attempt Certificate from the college previously studied.
  • Conduct Certificate from Head of Institution previously studied, h) Transfer / Leaving Certificate from the college previously studied,
  • Migration Certificate from the concerned University or Board.
  • Eligibility Certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University-of Health Sciences, Karnataka, Bangalore.
  • A declaration will have to be signed by the student and parent / Guardian at the time of admission in presence of Principal /Admission Committee ( Prescribed format will be supplied at the time of admission to the College).
Procedure

The College is housed in the newly constructed building which has,

  • Admission of students will be on the basis of merit. Candidates seeking admission must submit an application to the Principal in the prescribed form, which can be obtained from the office during working hours or downloaded online.
  • The completed application form along with the photocopies of certificates and a D.D. for Rs. 400.00 in favour of Dr. B.D. Jatti Homoeopathic Medical College payable at Dharwad must be submitted either in person or by registered post so as to reach this office NOT LATER THAN 30-06-2008.
  • The completed application form is to be sent to: Principal, Dr. B.D. Jatti Homoeopathic Medical College, D.C. Compound, Dharwad, Karnataka State - 580001.
  • Selection and admission to all courses will be provisional and is subject to the norms / provisions made applicable by the Government of Karnataka.
  • The candidates who meet the above requirements are required to appear for entrance test conducted Online at www.drbdjhmc.ac.in
  • Candidates provisionally selected after the entrance test will be intimated about the fees payable to the institution.
  • Selection intimation letter is to be surrendered to the college office at the time of admission.
  • All communications from the college will be addressed to email address given in the application form.

** Ragging is BANNED in the institution and any one indulging in a ragging is likely to be punished appropriately.
