Department of Gynaecology & Obstetrics

Gynaecology and Obstetrics is a clinical subject where Second and Third BHMS student undergo training in clinical methods of investigation diagnosing individualizing Pregnancy, Diseases of Women. The surgical intervention either as a lifesaving major or for removing mechanical obstacles as well as their management by using Homoeopathic medicines

The subject is also deals with reproductive health of the women and infant hygiene and care including the applied anatomy and physiology of pregnancy and labour.

Department is well equipped with museum, demonstration room for demonstration of models, charts and specimens. Students are trained in clinical training in attached IPD and OPD by the department staff.

Department is regularly conducting Seminars, Tutorials Clinical meetings for students. Camps and awareness programme for women’s health and diseases with Homoeopathic treatment in various places in & around the city.
